Healthy Eating

We are delighted to have installed an easee charging robot for EV driving cottage guests to safely and conveniently charge their electric vehicles.

The easee one is an untethered charger so it’s a case of bring your own cable that works for your vehicle. I have an app on my phone to record consumption and cost. Just let me know at the beginning of your stay if you would like to use the charger and I can take the readings and do the sums so you know how much it has cost you.

Payments can be made by cash, bank transfer or contactless card payments.

Instructions from easee

1. Check the charging cable and connector for damage and impurities such as foreign objects and water ingress before charging

2. Connect the charging cable to the Charging Robot and your electric car. The charging process starts and adapts automatically to the electric car and the available energy at any time according to the confi

We would like to share with you some of the places where we love to shop which offer a fabulous variety of delicious, local, healthy food and drink. (And more, many of them are cafes and coffee shops too).

Perthshire has wonderful produce, including fresh fruit and vegetables, wild game, and locally produced meat. There are also bakers and cake makers, chocolatiers and whisky distillers so you are in for a treat when you embark on a self-catering holiday at Ardormie Farm Cottage.

Payments can be made by cash, bank transfer or contactless card payments.

Peter Marshalls Farms Shop is just outside Alyth and it is such a pleasure to buy freshly picked raspberries, strawberries and blueberries when they are in season. They just taste so much better when they haven’t been chilled and transported. We all have to buy extra as some rarely make it home in the car! This wonderful little farm shop also sells locally produced vegetables, eggs, Wild Hearth Bakery bread on certain days of the week and many more goodies. Denhead Farms just outside Coupar Angus are another great stop and a must during asparagus season. Scottish asparagus in season is a seriously delicious thing.
